| Friday Quick Tip: The Little Things Add Up |

Happy Friday! Friday Quick Tip is something new and fun I thought I'd do on the blog. Something you can look forward to that you apply to your daily life immediately and get results. Sound like a good plan? Great! Let's get started then. Today's Quick Tip is about choices and snowflakes. You may be thinking, "HUH?" It's about how the little choices you make ... add up to be big things. Let's take a look at a snowflake for example. A snowflake by itself is small, very light and really won't do much damage when it hits you. Right? Imagine with me for a moment... What if snowflakes gather together at the top of a mountain and begin to roll. As this new team of snowflakes roll down the mountain it begins to take shape into a ball as more and more snowflakes join the team. The snowball consistently gains momentum and size until it's a huge snowball. Now imagine that you are standing at the bottom of the mountain and this gigantic fast moving snowball is barreling toward you and SMACK! It hits you. How much damage will the gigantic snowball do? A LOT! Right? It's going to hurt - big time. The choices you make work the same way. When you consistently make a negative choice it may not have a big immediate, like a single snowflake. But if you consistently make a negative choice (basically a choice that will have a negative impact), it will turn into a gigantic snowball with massive force that HURTS. So what's your snowflake? Is it being negative when someone shares an idea with you? Is it what you think when you have a good idea, "What's the point? It won't work anyway and I just don't have the time"? Is it the candy bar you eat or the Starbuck's coffee you drink? What's your snowflake? What choice are you going to make today in regards to your snowflake so that it does not become a massive hurtful snowball? The choice is yours. Quick Tip: The little things add up and become big things. This is true for choices with bad or good consequences. What choice will you make differently today so that your snowflake doesn't become a colossal damaging and possibly murderous snowball? I know it sounds like I'm repeating myself, but this question is an important one. What are you going to do now?
I'd like to know.
